Practical nights are always entertaining, educational and fun with the added bonus of time to chat with other members, help each other and generally interact ~ tonight was no exception!
Chairman Pete Wrycraft set up a selection of water and paper photo stations around the room, plus a couple of extra macro opportunities.
We all had a fun evening taking photos of submerged flowers with food colouring; oil and water [luckily for photographers; they do not mix]; there was a large flower head, a phrenology bust and water drops on threads across a beaker as well as a few folded and rolled coloured card concoctions which made great abstracts.
We used cameras and phones and all came away with some very different images and a bit more of an understanding that you can make a great shot from almost anything if you have a bit of imagination!
Well done to all, and thanks to Pete for his time and effort organising.
