At yesterdays’ highly anticipated meeting, members of our photography club gathered to celebrate the art of visual storytelling. The highlight of the evening was our 1st Quarterly Competition, a showcase of creativity, passion, and technical prowess. Dave Goacher, a landscape photographer and Competition Secretary at Ashby Camera Club, presided over the event. The room was abuzz with excitement as we embarked on a journey through a wide range of photographic genres, from still life to drone aerial photographs, and a plethora of architectural wonders in the realm of PDI (Projected Digital Images).

The competition featured an array of striking photographs, each vying for the coveted title of the best in its category. The diversity of subjects and styles on display was truly breathtaking. As the images came to life on prints, we found ourselves captivated by the sheer talent and creativity of our club members.
