NOTICE @everyone : MONDAY 20 JANUARY: Macro & Focus Stacking Evening:

In a slight change to the original evening plans we will be having a Practical Night so bring your gear.

There will be a selection We will start with a bit of focus-stacking overview and I’ll give a bit of a demo.

Then we’ll have some practice on some macro set-ups where you can either try focus stack with guidance on hand if needed, or just stick to macro – your choice.

So bring your gear if you want to have a play:

• Camera,
• My laptop can work with SD Cards if you want to see how you’ve done in the focus stacking software – so please come armed with an empty card. [not essential]
• Tripod [I have a spare which I’ll bring]
• Remote Release if you have one [not essential]
• Focus Stacking Rail if you have one [not essential]
• If there’s anything you think would make a good subject – we’ll have a watch. compass and a couple of other bits to play with.
