Today marked an exciting chapter for our photography club as we delved into the fascinating world of studio lighting. Guided by the expertise of John Woulidge, a seasoned professional in the realm of studio lights, we embarked on a journey to master the art of illuminating our shots.

John began by unravelling the mysteries of the light meter, demystifying the process of setting the power for each lamp. With a keen eye for detail, he walked us through the intricacies of configuring our cameras to achieve the perfect exposure. As the studio lamps bathed our space in a soft, controlled glow, the creative possibilities became endless.

Every club member had the chance to capture stunning shots using the array of studio lights at our disposal. From single lamps to intricate setups involving two or even three lights, we experimented with various configurations. The addition of soft boxes brought an enchanting touch to our compositions, creating a play of shadows and highlights that added depth to our photographs.
