Was it a good idea to plan an evening out with our cameras in April?!!
Fortunately, after a day of showers the rain had stopped and club members ventured out with their cameras to take photographs no more than 500 paces away from our meeting venue of C.A.N. in Coalville.
We mostly seemed to head off in different directions in search of images. On our return to C.A.N we viewed the images and found that despite the gloomy weather, we did manage to get some good quality, well exposed pictures.
There was a big variety of images including photos of landmark buildings, textures, shop windows, street scenes and even some Bluebells were found!
We all felt that it was an interesting exercise to challenge ourselves to find images within a short distance of our venue and we plan to repeat this next year.
As Coalville C.A.N is currently running an exhibition with images of Coalville we have been invited to exhibit some of our images taken on our 500 paces event.
